Practical home improvement guidance from trade experience and a designer’s eye.

Est. for modern homeowners

About the brand

Built from trade experience and a designer’s eye.

A / 01

Scott and Lara Harding created DIY Home Comfort to help homeowners make clearer decisions about comfort, renovation, and modern living.

Why we exist

More confidence. Better decisions. A home that feels like yours.

Home improvement advice often lands at one of two extremes: glossy inspiration with no path forward, or technical instruction that assumes you already know the language. DIY Home Comfort lives in the useful middle.

The publication pairs hands-on systems knowledge with contemporary design thinking, so readers can understand the tradeoffs, plan the work, and choose the right next step for their skills, budget, location, and home.

The people behind it

Two perspectives. One useful standard.

DIY Home Comfort began as a way to share the lessons Scott and Lara had learned through technical work, design, renovation, and life in a home that is always evolving.
